Russia strikes Dnipro: two series of explosions, Ukrainian News journalist's home damaged

On the afternoon of June 24, the aggressor country of russia struck the city of Dnipro, two series of powerful explosions were heard in the city. This is reported by a Ukrainian News Agency’s correspondent from the scene. The blast wave damaged at least one high-rise building, in particular, the home of a Ukrainian News journalist.

Thus, the correspondent reports that a balcony was destroyed and windows were broken in a high-rise building that was close to the explosion site. The blast wave also broke the door in the apartment.

"There were two waves of strikes. In the first there were 4-5 explosions. In the second there were 2 hits. The shock wave went in diagonally. The house opposite and the trees were saved. There was a mess on the balcony and the door was torn off into the room," the correspondent reports.

According to preliminary information, the city was attacked with ballistic missiles. It is reported that a column of smoke had already risen above Dnipro.

A few minutes before the explosions, the Air Force warned of a high-speed target heading towards Dnipro, after which an explosion was heard in the city.

At 11:03 am, Air Force of the AFU warned of another high-speed target heading towards Dnipro.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak confirmed that the enemy attacked Dnipro.

"A series of explosions were heard. We are clarifying information about the consequences. The air alert is ongoing. Stay in a safe place until the end of air alert," he stressed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 23, the aggressor state of russia attacked Ukraine with 368 air attack vehicles, including 11 ballistic and 5 cruise missiles. Air defense forces neutralized 354 targets, including 10 ballistic missiles and all cruise missiles. The main direction of the enemy's attack was Kyiv. Direct hits were recorded in 6 locations.

As a result of the night attack by the aggressor state of russia on Kyiv, significant destruction was recorded in residential and administrative buildings, as well as deaths.
