Search and rescue operations in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv after russian shelling on June 23 have been completed.
This was announced on the morning of June 24 by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"Search and rescue operations in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv have been completed. A russian missile on June 23 claimed the lives of 9 people. My condolences to the families of the deceased," the message says.
It is noted that emergency and recovery operations are underway at the site of the impact - specialists are dismantling dangerous structures.
"I thank the rescuers, police, medics, utility workers - everyone who worked non-stop from the first minutes. At such moments, every minute is a struggle for life," Klymenko added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the russian missile attack on Kyiv on the night of June 23, Volodymyr Moseychuk, a player for the amateur football club Temp United, and his girlfriend Anna were tragically killed.
The apartment of the lead singer of the band Antytila Taras Topolia and his wife, singer Alyosha, was destroyed by a russian ballistic missile on the night of June 23. The singer's family was not injured. However, according to him, only the walls remained in the apartment - and they were partially destroyed.
