During the night attack, the russian army used ballistic missiles from North Korea against Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated this on Telegram.

"In total, there were 352 drones, including 159 Shaheds, during this night, 16 missiles. According to preliminary data, ballistics from North Korea were also used. A significant part of the drones and missiles were shot down by our sky defenders. But not all," the President states.

The President emphasized that five apartment buildings were damaged in Kyiv alone.

"These are ordinary residential buildings. As of now, six people are known to have been killed. Another person was killed by this strike in Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv Region. There, a Shahed hit a hospital," he said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as a result of the night attack by the aggressor country russia on Kyiv, significant destruction was recorded in residential and administrative buildings, as well as the death of people.

In addition, on the night of June 23, the russian occupiers attacked the Kyiv Region, as a result of which three districts were affected. In particular, in the Bila Tserkva District, a hotel building where a medical facility was located, was destroyed. One person was killed and several injured, including rescuers.

The apartment of the soloist of the Antytila band Taras Topolia and his wife, the singer Alyosha, was destroyed by a russian ballistic missile on the night of June 23. The singer's family was not injured. However, according to him, only the walls remained in the apartment - and even they were partially destroyed.
