"Not surrender." Putin calls what russia wants from Ukraine

Russian dictator vladimir putin said that the aggressor country does not want the surrender of Ukraine, but seeks recognition of "realities on the ground". His words are given by Meduza on Friday, June 20.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum asked putin if russia was seeking Ukraine's surrender just as US President Donald Trump demands Iran's "unconditional surrender". The russian dictator stated that these two situations are different, and that russia does not need the surrender of Ukraine.

"We do not achieve surrender from Ukraine. We insist on recognizing the realities that have developed on the ground," the russian dictator said.

At the same time, putin repeated his favorite narrative about "one people" with Ukrainians.
