In Sumy Region, anti-drone nets installed over roads – Regional Military Administration

In the border area of the Sumy Region, due to constant attacks by russian drones, anti-drone nets are being installed over roads, which will protect logistics and citizens from enemy attacks.

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported this on his Telegram channel.

It is also noted that with the help of such nets, it is possible to complicate reconnaissance for the occupiers.

"We continue to cover the roads with anti-drone nets. Work continues in certain directions, in particular in border communities, where the enemy does not stop attacking," Hryhorov stated.

It is reported that this is another important step for the safety of people and the preservation of logistics in the Sumy Region.

"Such shelters complicate enemy aerial reconnaissance and protect against drones," the head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration assured that Sumy is not threatened by occupation, but a plan for the evacuation of residents has been prepared.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are gradually pushing out units of the army of the aggressor country russia from the territory of the Sumy Region.
