Balls – parts of russian cluster munitions found in Kyiv’s Nyvky district

After the massive russian attack on the night of June 17, balls from enemy cluster munitions are found in the Nyvky district in Kyiv, which were used to hit the capital to cause maximum damage to people.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has reported this.

"Nyvky. One of the missiles hit a residential building. No one was killed. But here is such an interesting find – the State Emergency Service and the police collected the balls that are here," the report says.

He explained that russia struck with a cluster munition, inside which there are such balls to cause maximum damage to people.

"It cannot be called anything other than genocide. In order to kill the maximum number of people, such shells are used when attacking a peaceful city," Klitschko emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 17, Kyiv suffered one of the most massive attacks since the start of the full-scale invasion. Russian forces launched a combined strike using kamikaze drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, focusing their strikes on residential areas.

The most serious damage was recorded in the Solomianskyi District, where a ballistic missile hit a multi-story building and passed through all nine floors.
