Bodies of 1,245 more killed returned to Ukraine. Repatriation part of Istanbul agreements completed

Today, the final stage of repatriation measures took place in accordance with the agreements in Istanbul. Another 1,245 bodies were returned to Ukraine, which, according to the russian side, belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel. This is stated in the message of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

As reported, within the framework of the Istanbul agreements, Ukraine received a total of 6,057 bodies.

It is noted that law enforcement investigators, together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will carry out all necessary examinations and identify the repatriated bodies.

"The final verification of the number of transferred bodies is underway," the Coordination Headquarters added.
