Ukraine and russia agree to exchange all seriously wounded and soldiers aged 18-25 - Umerov

Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia have agreed to exchange all seriously wounded prisoners of war, as well as all young soldiers aged 18-25. This was announced by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov at a press conference following the talks in Istanbul.

According to him, the next exchange of prisoners is focused on certain categories, not on numbers.

"We have agreed to exchange all seriously wounded and seriously ill prisoners of war, the second category is young soldiers aged 18 to 25, all for all. We also agreed to return 6,000 bodies for 6,000 bodies of killed soldiers," Umerov said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, today, June 2, the second round of negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and russia took place in Istanbul.

As stated by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, in Istanbul, the Ukrainian delegation handed over to the russians a list of children whom Moscow must return to their homeland.
