President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Aliona Hetmanchuk, director of the New Europe Center, as Head of Ukraine's mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), replacing Nataliia Halibarenko. This is stated in decrees No. 407 and No. 408 of June 13, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Appoint Hetmanchuk Aliona Anatoliivna as Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO," decree No. 408 states.

By decree No. 407, Zelenskyy dismissed Halibarenko from the post of Head of Ukraine's mission to NATO.

Hetmanchuk is director of the New Europe Center, founder and director of the Institute of World Policy (2009-2017).
