Russia will create its own troops of unmanned systems following example of Ukraine

Russian dictator vladimir putin said that a separate branch of the army of the aggressor country russia will appear, which will specialize in the use of unmanned systems.

According to the russian news agency TASS, putin said this on Thursday, June 12.

"We are currently creating troops of unmanned systems as a separate branch of the army. And we need to ensure their fastest and highest quality deployment and development," the russian dictator said.

According to putin, the full-scale war against Ukraine allowed russia to accumulate good experience in using drones.

When the troops of unmanned systems will appear in the russian army as a separate branch of the army, the dictator did not specify.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 11, the Defense Express portal wrote that the russians have probably started using jet modifications of the Shaheds during air attacks on Ukraine.

And at the end of May, it became known that the russians had modified the piston models of the Shaheds, equipping them with more powerful warheads.

Recall that the day before, BBC News wrote, citing servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, that units of the Ukrainian army were faced with a shortage of FPV drones.
