State Department claims that Trump administration supports supply of air defense systems to Ukraine

The administration of US President Donald Trump is in favor of supplying Ukraine with air defense systems to protect against massive attacks by the aggressor state of the russian federation.

US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce stated this during a briefing, European Pravda reports.

Bruce emphasized that the United States is "the biggest supporter and defender of Ukraine".

"And we want them to have air defense. We want them to be able to resist missiles flying in their direction", she said.

According to her, the possibility of transferring the relevant air defense systems to Ukraine by US European partners is currently being discussed.

"Several different parties are involved in this process, and the State Department is not involved in it. We are talking about ammunition, procurement and everything else," the State Department representative noted.

She emphasized that the United States will continue to support Ukraine: "there is no doubt about that".

"Our goal is to ensure the end of this war, and we continue to focus on that," Bruce summarized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, at the end of April this year, the American publication The Wall Street Journal wrote that Ukrainian government officials fear that the United States will stop the supply of military aid due to the current nature of negotiations with russia.

And in early March, the United States suspended arms supplies to Ukraine after a public quarrel between Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump.

However, on March 12, it became known that the United States had resumed the transfer of weapons and equipment.
