On the night of Monday, June 9, the aggressor country russia launched a massive strike on the territory of the Rivne Region. One person was injured as a result of the attack. This is stated in the message of the head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval.
"A very difficult night for the Rivne Region. Our region was subjected to a powerful enemy air strike. According to preliminary information, one civilian was injured," the head of the Regional Military Administration said.
Koval thanked the air defense forces for their professionalism, which, according to him, destroyed a large number of enemy targets.
He also noted that representatives of the Defense Forces and other services are working at the site of the hits.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his address to Ukrainians, called on them to be especially careful in the coming days and to pay attention to air alarm signals.
