President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his address to Ukrainians, called on them to be especially careful in the coming days and to pay attention to air alarm signals.
This is stated in the evening video address of the head of state, published on June 8 on his Telegram channel.
“I thank everyone who fights for Ukraine, who works for our state and for our people. We must pay attention to air alarm signals these days. Please take care of yourself,” the President emphasized.
Before that, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a unique special operation, as a result of which four strategic air bases in russia were hit: Olenya, Ivanovo, Dyagilevo and Belaya. According to the head of the SSU, Vasyl Maliuk, who personally led the operation, more than 40 russian strategic aircraft were hit.
The SSU reported that as a result of these actions, about 34% of russian cruise missile carriers were disabled, which is estimated at approximately USD 7 billion.
In addition, on June 4, Ukrainian special services conducted another operation - on the Crimea bridge. According to the SSU, during the explosion that occurred at 4:44 a.m., the underwater structures of the supports were significantly damaged.
After this, a telephone conversation took place between US President Donald Trump and russian leader vladimir putin. According to Trump, putin said that he would respond to the Ukrainian attack.
On the night of June 6, russia carried out a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine using drones and missiles of various types. Damage was recorded in Kyiv and a number of other cities. One of the consequences was the largest attack on Kharkiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
