Amid heated dispute between Trump and Musk, RF parliament already proposed granting billionaire political asylum

Russia is ready to grant political asylum to billionaire Elon Musk, who had a public spat with US President Donald Trump the day before, said Dmitry Novikov, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

"I think Musk has a completely different game, that he will not need any political asylum, although if he did, russia could, of course, provide it," said Novikov, quoted by the TASS propaganda agency.

In his opinion, Musk is unlikely to support the Democrats because of his disagreement with Trump.

"There are tactical differences, but there are strategic things, and he will adhere to them, I think," the MP concluded.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Musk's quarrel with Trump began with the businessman's criticism of the "big, beautiful" bill proposed by the President. The initiative provides for the continuation of tax breaks and, according to economists, could increase the US budget deficit by about USD 600 billion.

Musk called the bill "a disgusting perversion." Trump suggested that the businessman criticize him, and not the legislative initiative that has been submitted to Congress. In response, Musk wrote on the social network X that without him, Trump would have lost the election, and the Democrats would have controlled the House of Representatives.

Then the head of the White House noted that the easiest way to save "billions and billions" of dollars in the budget is "to stop Elon's government subsidies and contracts." After that, Musk decided to "drop a real bomb." According to him, Trump is involved in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019.

The investigation suspected him of trafficking minors, who were lured to Epstein's private island, where they were raped by representatives of the American and world elite. It is precisely because of Trump's involvement in this case that his materials have not yet been published, Musk noted.

Trump, in turn, said that the businessman "has simply gone crazy." The billionaire did not stop there and, in response to a question from one of the users of the social network X, whether Trump should be impeached, wrote: "Yes", and also supported the proposal to replace Trump with Vice President JD Vance.

In addition, according to Musk's advisor, the businessman decided to "destroy" the Republicans in the upcoming congressional elections and financially support the election campaigns of the Democrats.

As a result of the quarrel, Musk's fortune, as our editorial office reported, citing Bloomberg data, decreased by USD 34 billion. However, the businessman still occupies first place in the list of the richest people in the world with a fortune of USD 335 billion.

At the same time, Tesla shares fell by 14.26%, and its market value decreased by USD 150 billion to USD 915.75 billion. According to Politico, the White House is preparing a telephone conversation between Trump and Musk to agree on an end to the quarrel.
