British Foreign Secretary calls russia's night attack on Ukraine "barbaric act"

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy called russia's attack on Ukraine on the night of June 6 a barbaric act, stressing that russian dictator vladimir putin is attacking civilians and homes.

He wrote about this on the social network X.

"Putin is again attacking cities, homes and civilians. These are not military targets, but barbaric acts," the message says.

Lammy noted that among the killed were employees of the State Emergency Service, who "worked tirelessly to save and protect people's lives."

Recall that on the night of June 6, russian troops launched a combined strike on Ternopil, using strike drones and missiles. Hits were recorded on industrial facilities and critical infrastructure. The number of victims of the russian attack has increased to 11, six of them are employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 6, russia carried out one of the largest air attacks during the full-scale invasion. In total, the occupiers used 452 air attack vehicles. The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 406 of them.

During the massive missile and drone attack, the facade of the World War II museum building at the foot of the Motherland monument was damaged.

The russian occupiers also carried out a combined strike on Chernihiv - they attacked with drones and ballistics. A residential area was hit, houses were damaged, as well as one of the enterprises and infrastructure facilities. Four people were injured.
