US President Donald Trump had a phone call with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, during which they discussed the trade deal and his visit to China. Trump wrote about this on his Truth Social network on Thursday, June 5.

The US President said that the conversation concerned the concluded and agreed trade deal.

"The call lasted approximately one and a half hours, and resulted in a very positive conclusion for both Countries. There should no longer be any questions respecting the complexity of rare earth products. Our respective teams will be meeting shortly at a location to be determined," Trump wrote.
