Half of the 41 aircraft of the aggressor country, the russian federation, hit by the Security Service of Ukraine during Operation Spiderweb cannot be restored.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during a press conference on June 4.
"It is very important that Ukraine does everything to stop Russia, their aviation, their bombing and their potential. I have awarded the soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine with a closed decree for conducting an important operation on the territory of the Russian Federation to destroy 41 aircraft. Half of them cannot be restored, and some will take years to restore if they are restored. Indeed, a fair military goal," Zelenskyy said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine implemented a large-scale operation involving FPV drones, which were delivered to the territory of the aggressor country, the russian federation, in advance. According to the SSU and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 41 russian aircraft were destroyed as a result of the attack. The special operation called Spiderweb was prepared for a year and a half.
On June 3, the head of the communications department of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat said that russian terrorist troops will not be able to carry out terrorist attacks on Ukraine for a long time due to the SSU Operation Spiderweb.
On June 4, unique footage of the preparation of the Operation Spiderweb appeared, where small houses with drones set off.
