Serbian President responds to russia's accusations of ammunition for Ukraine

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that he and representatives of the aggressor country russia have created a working group to verify information about the supply of ammunition to Ukraine. It was reported by RTS on Thursday, June 29.

Vučić noted that he discussed the export of ammunition with russian dictator putin in moscow. According to him, despite the good relations with russia, for which the West criticizes Serbia, statements are coming from moscow that "Belgrade continues to send ammunition to Kyiv through intermediary countries."

"But one more thing: our factories must live and work. About 24,000 people work directly in the defense industry, and they depend on this industry. "We are now sending weapons to supply our army," Vučić stressed.

He said that attacks on Serbia occur frequently because it "is an autonomous and independent country." According to Vučić, those who criticized him for spying for russia now accuse him of the opposite: "No, gentlemen, we work only for Serbia," the Serbian President concluded.
