Ihor Syrota completes his term as CEO of Ukrhydroenergo

Ihor Syrota completes his term as CEO of the Ukrhydroenergo power generation company.

This is stated in the Ukrhydroenergo report, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The report states that by the decision of the Supervisory Board of PrJSC Ukrhydroenergo dated May 28, 2025, Ihor Syrota's application was granted.

It is noted that until the Supervisory Board elects a new CEO in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, Bohdan Sukhetskyi will temporarily perform the duties of the company's head, ensuring continuity of management and implementation of the company's current tasks.

The company continues to operate as usual.

All production processes, contracts and obligations to partners, suppliers and financial institutions are being fulfilled in full.

Ihor Syrota joined Ukrhydroenergo in March 2010 as First Deputy Chairman of the Board.

In 2011, he was appointed Director General.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the end of April, Ukrhydroenergo received USD 70 million for the construction of energy storage facilities.

Ukrhydroenergo includes Kyiv HEPP, Kyiv PHES, Kaniv HEPP, Kremenchuk HEPP, Seredniodniprovska HEPP, Dnipro HEPP, Dniester HEPP, Dniester PHES and Kakhovka HEPP, with a total installed capacity of 5.745 GW.

100% of Ukrhydroenergo's shares are owned by the state and are managed by the Ministry of Energy.
