Ukraine expects the next tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) of USD 0.5 billion, and in 2025 – USD 2.3 billion in total.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As is known, from May 20 to 27, an IMF mission is being held in Ukraine for the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program - a four-year extended financing program for Ukraine in the amount of USD 15.5 billion, approved in March 2023.
Following the review, Ukraine will receive the next tranche in the amount of about USD 487 million.
For a successful eighth review, Ukraine has fulfilled 2 structural beacons (conditions). In total, the country has already fulfilled 42 structural beacons within the framework of the EFF program.
It is noted that for 2025, the IMF EFF program provides for up to USD 2.3 billion based on the results of four reviews.
The first USD 400 million were received by the state budget in March of this year.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in total, eight tranches have already been attracted to the State Budget of Ukraine under the IMF program, totaling about USD 10.1 billion.
