Buildings and transport damaged in Prykarpattia due to russian drone attack - Regional Military Administration

On the morning of May 23, 2025, russian drones attacked Prykarpattia. Air defense units were operating in the region. Buildings and transport were damaged in the Kolomyia district. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk.

"Currently, damage to buildings and vehicles in the Kolomyia district is known. Thanks to the sky defenders for their excellent work and to all services that help overcome the consequences of the enemy attack. I urge the residents of Prykarpattia not to ignore air alert signals!" Onyshchuk wrote.

The air alert in the region began at 4:17 am and ended at 5:15 am.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of May 22, loud explosions were heard in Kyiv from the work of air defense forces, and several enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded over the city. On the night of Wednesday, May 21, russian troops launched 76 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 35 of them, and another 58 drones were lost in location (suppressed by electronic warfare means).
