Russians claim to have allegedly reached border of Dnipropetrovsk Region. Regional Military Administration denies

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported that the photos and information about the alleged russian army reaching the border with the Dnipropetrovsk Region, which are circulating on the Internet, are not true.

He reported this on Telegram.

"Information is spreading online that, supposedly, Russian troops have reached the border of the Dnipropetrovsk Region. This is a fake! Both this "news" and the photo that allegedly illustrates it. They do not correspond to reality," the message says.

Lysak emphasized that the information was published by the russians intentionally in order to intimidate residents of the region, sow panic and destabilize the situation.

The head of the Regional Military Administration called not to be led astray and to trust only official sources.

As a reminder, in April, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that despite statements about a ceasefire for the May holidays, the russians have significantly increased the intensity of hostilities and are trying to reach the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk Region.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in addition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the statements of representatives of the aggressor country russia about the alleged end of hostilities on the territory of the russian Kursk Oblast. The department emphasized that the operation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the border areas of the Kursk Oblast is ongoing.
