The grain corridor in the Black Sea is operating smoothly, and the number of ships passing through it remains stable.
The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, reported this on television.
He noted that the Ukrainian military was able to build a safe route for ships, taking into account the threats of mining from russia. Recently, no incidents with explosions or attacks have been recorded in the information field.
He also highly appreciated the effectiveness of naval surface drones, which have significantly changed the enemy's tactics. It is thanks to drones that russian forces were forced to reduce their presence in the northern part of the Black Sea, and their fleet periodically disperses to avoid attacks.
"In fact, now the Russians are in a situation where they have a constant choice - who to meet, drones or missiles. Therefore, we periodically observe how they are forced to disperse their ship and boat fleet, in particular, to leave their base in Novorossiysk, but not far away, so as not to encounter this threat," Pletenchuk said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Navy previously reported that the activity of russian forces in the Black Sea and on the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula is concentrated in the air component, and combat aircraft and missile systems are also constantly present there.
Earlier, the Navy told how they record preparations for a missile strike from the sea and why you need to look at the sky for this.
