Today, May 14, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal introduced Serhii Koretskyi - the new Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
This is stated in the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The message states that the event was attended by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz Group Anthony Marino, heads of Naftogaz Group enterprises and company employees.
The Prime Minister outlined 5 key priorities for the new management: preparation for the next heating season; accumulation of sufficient gas reserves; restoration of infrastructure damaged by enemy shelling; increase of Ukrainian production and development of distributed generation.
Denys Shmyhal emphasized that Naftogaz is a key element in the energy security system of Ukraine and wished Serhii Koretskyi success in his new position.
Serhii Koretskyi has headed PJSC Ukrnafta and PJSC Ukrtatnafta as Chairman of the Board since 2022.
Prior to that, he held management positions at Continuum Group, WOG, and Idealist Coffee Co.
Serhii Koretskyi received higher education in Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics at Lutsk State Technical University and in Oil and Gas Production at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 29, the Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine officially confirmed that Serhii Koretskyi was elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Group.
