The supervisory board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company reports that Serhii Fedorovych Koretskyi has been elected as the new chairman of the board of the Naftogaz group.
This is announced in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement says that Koretskyi is currently the chairman of the board of PJSC Ukrnafta and PJSC Ukrtatnafta, and in this capacity he comes to a new position from within the oil and gas family of enterprises.
He will assume the position of chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC from May 14, 2025.
Serhii Koretskyi has headed PJSC Ukrnafta and PJSC Ukrtatnafta as chairman of the board since 2022.
Before that, he held senior positions at Continuum Group, WOG and Idealist Coffee Co.
Serhii Koretskyi received higher education in the specialties of "Mechanical Engineering" and "Business Economics" at Lutsk State Technical University and in the specialty "Oil and Gas Production" at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University.
The supervisory board emphasizes that Koretskyi has unanimous support and assistance from it.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Serhii Koretskyi, director of the largest oil producing company Ukrnafta and the company Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchuk Oil Refinery, Poltava Region), declared UAH 26.659 million of salary in 2024 (about UAH 2.22 million per month).
