Peskov confirms that mobile internet was restricted in Moscow due to "dangerous neighborhood"

Moscow has introduced temporary restrictions on mobile internet in connection with preparations for the May 9 celebrations. This was stated by the spokesman for the russian president Dmitry Peskov.

"During all the days when guests of these celebrations will be here, that is, until the 10th inclusively - well, we probably need to be prepared for such temporary restrictions on mobile internet... We must take into account the, let's say, dangerous neighborhood that we have," Peskov said.

He also could not say specifically when the internet will be fully restored.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Security and Defense Council explained why propaganda resources are threatening Kyiv with Oreshnik before May 9.

On May 6, the russian authorities announced a massive UAV attack on at least nine russian regions. Explosions also thundered in the Moscow area.

We will remind, on the eve, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak published a picture depicting the destroyed Kremlin, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and drones in the sky over Moscow.

We also wrote that the Kremlin published a list of foreign leaders who will take part in the parade on Red Square on May 9.
