In April, compared to March, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 31% to 187,000 MWh.
The ExPro publication announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The largest share in the structure of electricity imports in April is occupied by Hungary (44.0%), followed by Slovakia and Poland (18.0% each).

It is noted that the peak of imports was on April 11, over 20,000 MWh, and after April 20, the volumes of electricity supplied from abroad decreased significantly.
The report states that electricity exports in April 2025, compared to the previous month, almost doubled - to over 150,000 MWh.

The largest share of electricity was exported on April 22-25, over 11,000 MWh.
The largest amount of electricity was exported to Hungary (38%) and Moldova (35%).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March, compared to February, Ukraine increased electricity imports by 11% to 272,000 MWh.
