According to YouControl, Energoatom received a profit of UAH 5.914 billion in 2021, the pre-war year.

Oleksii Honcharenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the European Solidarity faction, announced on April 29 on his Telegram channel that Energoatom will not pay dividends, and the profit will be used to cover losses.

“The company’s net profit is UAH 1.3 billion. All 100% of the profit will be used to cover losses from previous years. Dividends are not paid. The independent auditor’s conclusion has been confirmed. The report on remuneration to the supervisory board has been approved,” Honcharenko wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early February, Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC NNEGC Energoatom Petro Kotin announced that Energoatom’s performance in 2024 proves the need to develop nuclear generation.
