Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has refused to visit the capital of the aggressor country, russia, on May 9 to participate in events dedicated to Victory Day.
The press secretary of the russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, has stated this, as quoted by Interfax.
According to him, Modi, who received an official invitation to visit moscow in early April, will not come.
"India will be represented, but not at the highest level," Peskov added.
Later, russian media reported that the Indian Defense Minister will come to moscow for Victory Day.
Peskov noted that the President of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping will visit the military parade in moscow. Russia "attaches great importance" to his visit.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 28, russian dictator vladimir putin announced that the russian army was declaring a ceasefire from May 8 to 11. The temporary ceasefire is necessary for the occupiers to celebrate Victory Day.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that putin's proposal to arrange a new temporary ceasefire is another manipulation.
