On Friday morning, April 25, rescuers completed search and rescue operations in a residential building destroyed by a russian missile in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv. The attack killed 12 people and wounded another 87.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) reported this on Telegram.
"Search and rescue operations have been completed in Kyiv at the site of the russian attack on a residential building. 12 people were killed and 87 wounded," the SESU said in a statement.

Despite the completion of the search for people under the rubble, emergency and recovery operations are continuing at the site. Rescuers are dismantling the destroyed structures of the building.

According to the service, 73 SESU employees and 25 pieces of equipment are currently involved in the work.

The shelling of the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, during which an apartment building was destroyed, occurred on the night of April 24. It was one of the most destructive attacks on the capital in recent months.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of April 24, the russian armed forces carried out a combined attack on Ukraine with Kalibr cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and Shahed kamikaze drones, hitting Kyiv and Kharkiv.
In particular, 12 people were killed in the Sviatoshynskyi district as a result of the russian strike, and about 90 more were wounded, 44 of them were in medical facilities.
