US President Donald Trump said he has his own deadlines for peace talks between the aggressor country of russia and Ukraine.
According to Clash Report, the American leader said this during a conversation with journalists.
The US President was asked if he had any deadlines for peace talks regarding Ukraine.
"I have my own deadline for an agreement with russia and Ukraine," Trump replied.
He added that after this deadline, his attitude would change. Trump did not specify what this meant.
At the same time, he expressed confidence about a peace agreement between Ukraine and russia.
He was also asked whether the US really intends to withdraw from the negotiation process if there is no progress in it.
Trump replied that this question should be asked "in two weeks."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 24, Bloomberg agency wrote, citing its own sources, that the US is demanding that russia recognize Ukraine's right to have its own army and preserve its defense industry.
In addition, the agency claims that Washington is demanding that Moscow return control of the Zaporizhzhia NPP to Kyiv. Later, it is planned to transfer it to the US, which will provide both sides with electricity.
We will remind, also on April 24, French President Emmanuel Macron, against the backdrop of the russian army's missile strike on Kyiv, called on Trump to focus his anger on russian dictator vladimir putin.
