During the massive attack on Kyiv on the night of April 24, russia used North Korean-made KN-23 ballistic missiles.

According to the portal, the russian troops carried out a combined strike, using not only KN-23 missiles, but also Kalibr cruise missiles and Shahed-136 kamikaze drones.
"The use of several KN-23s is evidenced by the results of the analysis of the fragments," experts note.
It is also reported that if the warhead of the missile cannot be destroyed in the air, it explodes upon impact. Videos of the moment the missile falls in residential areas of Kyiv are already circulating on the Internet - the recordings show powerful explosions.
Experts recalled that, according to Ukrainian intelligence, russia has been refining the North Korean KN-23 to improve their accuracy and reliability. Defense Express suggests that these modifications have allowed the russians to use such missiles more actively to terrorize the civilian population.
