European countries at talks in Paris inform US of their "red lines" regarding negotiations on Ukraine

Representatives of France, the United Kingdom  and Germany at talks in Paris on April 17 conveyed to the US their "red lines" regarding the peace agreement on Ukraine.

According to Reuters, French Foreign Minister Jean- Noël Barrot has stated this.

According to him, the only thing that worries Paris regarding the peace negotiations on Ukraine is the protection of "French interests" and "European security."

Barrot noted that at a meeting in Paris on April 17, European countries conveyed to the US which issues will not be discussed for them at the negotiations.

"That is why, when the US decides to take the position of a mediator, we make them hear what our red lines are," said the head of the French Foreign Ministry.

Barrot did not specify what exactly the "red lines" are for Europe.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a new round of ceasefire talks involving Ukraine, the US and European countries would be held in London on April 23.

We will remind, earlier the media wrote about who would represent Ukraine at the peace talks in the British capital.
