"If elections are held during martial law, Zelenskyy will get 102%" – Dmytro Razumkov

Member of Parliament of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov is convinced that presidential elections in Ukraine should be held only after the end of the war and the end of martial law. He stated this in an interview with Anna Maksymchuk.

"If the war continues, there will be no freedom of speech, there will be no democracy, there will be no opportunity to campaign, the military will not be able to take part in the elections," the politician noted.

According to Razumkov, if an attempt is made to hold elections before martial law is lifted, the current leadership of the state will be left without competition.

"If someone comes up with a system to hold elections during martial law, Zelenskyy will get 102%. There is no need to go far here, I understand how it will happen: the territorial recruitment and social support centers will be placed near each polling station and all those who do not support the current government will be mobilized immediately near the polling stations," explained Razumkov.

The politician is also critical of the idea of holding elections through the Diia service.

"If someone decides to hold elections in Diia, then the one who will control Diia will receive 102%. If the ruscists break Diia, then Lukashenko will receive 102% in the elections in Ukraine. And there are many such examples," the MP emphasized.

Earlier, the CEC reported that organizing elections after the cessation of hostilities will take more time than for regular elections. Changes in legislation will also be required.
