President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on gross violations of the so-called "Easter truce" declared by russia. According to the head of state, from 6:00 pm to midnight, that is, in the first six hours of the ceasefire, russian troops carried out 387 shelling and carried out 19 assault attacks. In addition, 290 cases of the use of drones were recorded.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, referring to the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
59 shelling and five assaults by russian units were recorded at the front line.
In particular, one combat clash occurred in the zone of the Starobilsk Operational an Strategic Troops Group (OSTG). Three clashes were recorded in the zone of the Donetsk (OSTG) - in the areas of the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsk Axes. Another one took place in the Zaporizhzhia Axis, near Stepove.
Artillery strikes and the use of drones in the Kursk Oblast were also recorded.
"The russian army is trying to create a general impression of a ceasefire, but in some places it does not abandon individual attempts to advance and inflict losses on Ukraine," the President noted.
Recall that russian president vladimir putin announced an "Easter truce," which supposedly provides for the cessation of all hostilities in Ukraine from the evening of April 19 to midnight on April 21.
