Russian president vladimir putin has declared an "Easter truce", which supposedly provides for the cessation of all hostilities in Ukraine from the evening of April 19 to midnight on April 21.
The russian propaganda agency TASS has reported this, citing a statement from the kremlin.
As putin stated, the russian federation is stopping all hostilities from 6 p.m. on April 19 moscow time (coinciding with Kyiv time) to 12:00 a.m. on April 21.
The ruler of the aggressor country also called on Kyiv to declare an Easter truce.
At the same time, he has already begun to talk about possible violations: allegedly, russian troops should be ready for Kyiv to violate the truce.
Putin added that the reaction to the "Easter truce" will show how sincere Kyiv's ability and desire to participate in "peace negotiations" are.
