Poland has banned taking photos of strategic facilities in accordance with laws on homeland protection and countering espionage. Violators face fines and arrest.
The Polish Radio reported this on Thursday, April 17.
The facilities prohibited from being photographed will be marked with a white-and-red sign with the inscription "Photography is prohibited".
"These are customs and laws that operate in many countries. In fact, they will help strengthen our resilience, the resilience of our infrastructure, the resilience of our Armed Forces and will complicate the activities of a potential adversary who may threaten our security," said the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wiesław Kukuła.
The publication writes that there are approximately 25,000 such strategic locations in Poland. These include facilities where weapons, ammunition and military equipment are repaired and stored.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 27, the Chairman of the National Security Council of Poland, General Dariusz Łukowski, said that his country would have enough shells for a week or two for a war with the aggressor country russia.
Recall that in December 2024, Poland announced plans to build a direct road towards the Kaliningrad Oblast of the russian federation.
