A woman in Poland has for the first time become an F-16 fighter pilot. The Polish Minister of Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, announced this on his X-account on Friday, April 18.
"Important news for our Air Force and all the Armed Forces of Poland – the first woman became the pilot of the F-16 aircraft! The female officer serves at the 32nd Tactical Aviation Base in Łask," the Minister wrote.
According to him, the first female pilot underwent training in the United States of America and can already fly Polish fighters. In addition, the second female pilot is undergoing training at the 31st base in Krzesiny, Kosiniak-Kamysz noted.
