On April 17, talks were held in Paris with the participation of representatives of the US, Ukraine, France, Germany and the UK. As BFMTV reported with reference to the Elysee Palace, the participants agreed to continue the dialogue next week in London.
The French presidential administration described the meeting as constructive and focused on the prospect of achieving a "lasting peace for Ukraine".
"Today in Paris, we launched a process that is positive and in which Europeans participate," the Elysée Palace said.
These talks were the first in a series of meetings aimed at coordinating diplomatic efforts to end the war. The delegations held discussions in various formats, including bilateral and multilateral.
Recall that representatives of the US, Ukraine, the UK and Germany arrived in Paris on Thursday to participate in negotiations to end the russian-Ukrainian war.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine and the United States have signed a memorandum of intent to conclude an economic partnership agreement. US President Donald Trump suggested that an agreement on Ukrainian minerals could be signed as early as next week.
