Ukraine and US may sign minerals deal on April 24 – Trump

The President of the United States of America Donald Trump suggested that an agreement on Ukrainian minerals could be signed as early as next week. He stated this at a press conference with the Head of the Government of Italy Giorgia Meloni at the White House, Bloomberg reports.

"We have a minerals deal which I guess is going to be signed on Thursday day (April 24 – Ed.) And I assume they’re going to live up to the deal," Trump said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko announced a positive step with the US regarding an agreement on economic partnership and the creation of an investment fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The Cabinet of Ministers has created a delegation for negotiations with the US government on the implementation of joint projects, headed by Svyrydenko.
