The delegations of Ukraine, France, Germany and the United Kingdom held talks in Paris on the involvement of a multinational military contingent in Ukraine.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, met with the diplomatic advisor to the French President, Emmanuel Bonn, the national security advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Powell, and the national security advisor to the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Jens Plötner.

"We exchanged views on further steps to achieve a just and sustainable peace, in particular the implementation of a complete ceasefire, the involvement of a multinational military contingent, as well as the development of an effective security architecture for Ukraine," Yermak wrote.
Defense Minister Rustem Umerov added that work on security guarantees together with partners is ongoing.
"Our priority is a result that will guarantee a reliable peace for Ukraine and Ukrainians," the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
As a reminder, Head of the President's Office Andrii Yermak, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha and Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov arrived in Paris (France) for negotiations with representatives of the United States and the Coalition of the Willing.
