Russia may launch even more brutal attack on Easter - Lithuanian Foreign Ministry

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said that the aggressor country of russia may launch an even more radical and horrific attack on Easter. LRT writes about this.

"This week is Holy Week, we will reach Easter - I have no doubt that on Easter russia will do something even more horrific. Perhaps there will be a turning point when we say: okay, look, we need to tighten sanctions," Budrys said.

According to the politician, the Sumy tragedy has become a kind of incentive for the countries of the European Union (EU) to take bolder steps regarding sanctions and additional support for Ukraine. However, according to the minister, it is not yet known whether this moment will last and whether it will turn into real political decisions.

"If we do not open the negotiating blocs with Ukraine this semester, if we collapse on sanctions, then we can no longer talk about any geopolitical subjectivity of the European Union, we can no longer talk about having any influence in the world," Budrys warned.
