In Mariupol, occupiers want to demolish private houses in the last surviving historical part of city - Andriushchenko

The russian occupiers are going to demolish almost 2.5 square kilometers of private houses in the historical part of Havan [Harbor] in Mariupol. They plan to build a public and business center in their place. This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation, Petro Andriushchenko, in his Telegram channel.

"The fact is that this is the last surviving real historical part of Mariupol. This is where the first port was, which gave development to the city. HISTORY lived here. But all of it in this place was almost not damaged. However. Who cares, right?" he wrote.

It is noted that the occupiers already have a project for the dismantling of houses, and they have to implement it this year.

"And that's enough with the history. The main question is - where will the people from the residential buildings go? Again - to the street? Most likely, that's it. Here it is, an improvement from the "russian world," Andriushchenko added.
