On the front line, cases of the russians using poison gas ammunition are more frequently recorded, in particular in the Zaporizhzhia Region. Most often, the enemy uses RG-Vo, which affects the mucous membrane of the defense and respiratory tract.
It was reported by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"Due to the inability of the Russian occupation army to achieve the tasks set by the Kremlin leaders on the battlefield, the invaders are using chemicals on the front - during the criminal war against Ukraine, the Muscovites have given the corresponding practice a systemic character," the report says.
It is indicated that currently on the front line, in particular in the Zaporizhzhia Region in the area of the settlement of Shcherbaky, cases of the enemy using poison gas ammunition are more frequently recorded.
Mostly, these are RG-Vo grenades (hand grenade — toxic substance), which the russians drop from drones on the positions of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. The gas used by the russian invaders affects the mucous membrane of the defense system and the respiratory tract.
"Being in the zone of chemical attack without protective equipment can have fatal consequences - unfortunately, there have already been deaths among the defenders of Ukraine. Currently, examinations of the chemical substance used by the Russians are underway to accurately identify it," the department reported.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian propaganda spread a fake about the use of chemical weapons by the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and create an alibi for its own army. In particular, the facts of the use of chemical weapons by the russians have recently been recorded on the Kupiansk axis.
Recall that at the end of March, according to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andrii Kovalenko, the aggressor country russia began to actively use discharges of toxic substances.
