As of 02:10 pm, the death toll in Sumy as a result of the russian attack with two ballistic missiles on April 13 has risen to 32. Among them are two children.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
"Sumy: as of 02:10 pm, 32 people have been killed, including 2 children. 84 people have been wounded, including 10 children," the report says.
Currently, emergency and rescue operations are continuing.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian occupiers struck the center of Sumy on April 13, using cluster munitions and killing many people. In particular, a trolleybus was attacked - almost all passengers were killed. At that time, people were returning from church, since today is the Christian holiday of Palm Sunday.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that russian dictator vladimir putin is ignoring the US proposal for a ceasefire and continues to kill Ukrainians.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called the russian missile attack on Sumy on Sunday, April 13, "absolute evil" and called on the international community to react decisively.
