Ukraine received the third tranche from the EU in the amount of EUR 1 billion within the framework of the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
ERA provides for the allocation of USD 50 billion to Ukraine, of which the EU contribution is EUR 18.1 billion (USD 20 billion).
In total, within the framework of the ERA initiative, the Ministry of Finance has already attracted EUR 5 billion from the European Union. It is expected that Ukraine will receive the remaining funds from the EU in installments until the end of 2025.
Since February 2022, the European Union has been the largest provider of direct budget assistance to Ukraine - EUR 50.5 billion for priority state budget expenditures.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late March, the state budget of Ukraine received about USD 400 million of the next tranche of the International Monetary Fund.
