On the night of April 6, during a russian missile attack, 5 out of 6 ballistic missiles hit targets in the Kyiv Region, only one was destroyed.
The head of the communications department of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat reported this on the air of a telethon.
"Unfortunately, only one of the ballistic missiles, of which there were actually six, was destroyed. The rest are, unfortunately, hits, this is the Kyiv Region," noted Yurii Ihnat.
According to Ihnat, the Kalibrs and the Kh-101 missiles were destroyed and suppressed by electronic warfare means in the amount of 12 cruise missiles. The strike was massive and difficult to intercept.
In general, the attack in the Kyiv Region affected the Brovary, Bucha and Fastiv Districts. There are damaged buildings of a car repair shop, a gas station, a car wash, a service station, cars and a house.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian federation has changed the tactics of missile strikes on Ukraine, the enemy is modifying its missiles and drones and has begun to use ballistics more.
The russian federation launched 23 missiles and 109 drones on Ukraine. The Air Forces announced how many targets they had shot down.
Fires broke out in three districts of the city due to the missile attack on Kyiv, there are casualties.
