Kremlin expects Trump to provide russia with acceptable terms for peace treaty — Bloomberg

The leadership of the aggressor country russia continues to count on the US to provide an acceptable peace treaty, although it is ready to continue the war against Ukraine if agreements are not reached.

Bloomberg reported this with reference to its own sources in moscow.

According to unnamed interlocutors, russia is not worried about Donald Trump's threat to impose sanctions on oil exports. Earlier, the White House threatened the kremlin with tightening restrictions if there is no progress in the negotiations on Ukraine.

At the same time, russian dictator vladimir putin understands that Trump is his best chance to end the war, which has led to high losses and unprecedented sanctions.

Bloomberg sources said that putin is not afraid of the 500% tariff that the US has threatened to impose on countries that buy russian oil.

They say that the russian dictator believes that the new sanctions will not be more effective than the previous ones, since russia has been living under sanctions for the third year and feels normal.

Putin expects new concessions from Trump. This includes easing sanctions and stopping arms supplies to Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 2, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that russia is neglecting the diplomatic efforts of its partners and continues to strike at energy facilities. He called for a response to the actions of the occupiers.

Recall, on April 1, Reuters wrote, citing sources, that the US leadership has come to realize that it will not be possible to reach a peace agreement in the coming months.
