In the Pokrovsk Axis, the russian forces are using fewer attacks to the west of Pokrovsk, more to the east of it, and are also trying to cut off the supply routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Major Viktor Trehubov told this on the air of the United News telethon.
According to him, the main goal of the russian occupiers remains to reach the Pokrovsk - Kostiantynivka highway. For the sake of speed and due to the lack of equipment, the enemy, as in general along the entire front line, is increasingly using exotic transport - buggies, motorcycles and electric scooters.
"Now they have a large number of completely different improvised equipment. In principle, they use everything. We have seen attacks on motorcycles. We have seen buggies, electric scooters. Sometimes it reminds us of the movie "Mad Max". Some kind of biker club," Trehubov said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of the russian army in the Pokrovsk Axis in January amounted to 7,000 people killed. This is more than in the entire second Chechen war.
It was also reported that the russian troops in the Pokrovsk Axis have been exhausted for two months, but are renewing their attempts to improve their tactical position near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Region.
