Russian troops in the Pokrovsk Axis have been exhausted for two months, but are resuming their attempts to improve their tactical position near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Region. This was stated by the spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG) Viktor Trehubov on the air of a telethon.
It is reported that the intensity of actions is still lower than it was in February.
"In the first 10 days of March, they took a break, during this break, the number of combat clashes in this Axis dropped very sharply, but then it went up again. This means that the russians have recovered and are now resuming their attempts to somehow improve their tactical position near Pokrovsk," Trehubov said.
The intensity of the fighting has not reached the levels that were in February of this year, due to the fact that there are fewer russians physically and less equipment, the spokesman said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 23, 140 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking the most in the Pokrovsk (61 clashes), Toretsk and Kursk (17 each) Axes.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the command post of the Pokrovsk tactical group and met with the commanders of the Drone Line, which united the best unmanned units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
